Winter vibe

The weather situation is pretty horrible in Slovenia at the moment, since after the first big snow delivery, it has been raining for a few days, leaving the country covered in ice which led to some really bad consequences, destroying the trees and electricity lines and cutting the power for thousands of homes all around the country. My family and I are really lucky to live in the capital, that hasn't been dealing which such serious conditions and we can actually almost admire the beauty of this winter wonderland that our city has turned into. It's almost magical to look at the trees that became these huge ice sculptures (although I am well aware of how devastating is that for them) and to admire the power of nature that once again proved us, that we definitely have no control over it.

Sweater weather

Lately I seem to be living in big, chunky, turtle neck knits (either these or big scarves) since it has been getting really cold and even though I'm trying to keep my looks as stylish as possible, staying warm is still my main priority. For me the key is a good old layering, I remember I used to hate wearing many different pieces of clothing at the same time, that for some reason my teenage brain found very unflattering and of course you have to go against whatever your parents advise you in those years. Well now it's a complete different story, I walk around with a thousands of layers, that allow me to skip wearing a coat for a day or two and replace it with such cute shearling jacket, as the one that I'm wearing in today's post!

Black hat

I heard a quote a few days ago, saying "I'll stop wearing black when they invent a darker color"...and I couldn't agree more. There's just something about all black combination that makes me feel so good, but for some reason I feel like whenever I wear it, I'm always trying to find some excuses and trying to make such combination..what?...Less intense? When it actually doesn't get more basic than this, so I'm definitely sticking to that quote! ;)

This year's fall has been beyond amazing. The fact that we can walk around, wearing only a sweater at the end of October, feels almost surreal to me, so I've been trying to spend as much time as possible outside, preferably with my little fury friend Aisha, that of course had to be in the pictures, making the final touch to my black and white look! ;)

Burgundy vibe

Even though I love dressing up from time to time, this kind of look is by far my most favourite. When it comes to everyday fashion, being comfortable is one of my main priorities, since I'm pretty much running from one place to another during the day. But even though I prefer keeping it simple, I love mixing some basic but yet interesting pieces, that can make even the most casual outfit stand out! So for today's look, instead of throwing on my basic leather jacket, I decided to go for this shearling one, that I believe makes the whole look much more interesting and adds some cute details. Paired with this amazing MK bag and some washed out black jeans and voila!...What do you think? :)

Look of the day

Excuse-moi for being a little bit late with today's post, but I'm spending this last September weekend at the coast, away from rainy and cold Ljubljana, where summer hasn't left the town just yet, but the internet connection seemed to have. But better late than never right, so I hope you like today's casual and so incredibly comfortable look, that I've been pretty much living in after Milan and during these busy working days.

simple and ripped

I don't know what's with me and ripped items, but lately I seem to be pulling my oldest DIY projects out of the closet. Like this shirt that I'm always so proud to say that I did it all by myself, not really so much for its look, but more for the fact that I believe it shows the effort and time I've put into it...and well it does look pretty cool, don't you think? :)

Besides mornings, late afternoons are my favourite part of the day during summer. I especially love the lightening, the warm orange and yellow tones that are so much friendlier than the bright ones during the day, so I'm really happy that we were able to capture those moments within these photos. They were taken right before the sunset and followed by a lovely night spend in Umag, or to be more precise at Umagoblues, where great music and perfect evening are guaranteed!

When it comes to fashion during these cold months, layering is my number one rule, since staying warm is of course my number one priority, but at the same time I want to be comfortable indoor as well, not sweating my ass off under one warm sweater! Especially if that means mixing different materials that makes an outfit so much more interesting, and well since winter doesn't want to say good-bye just yet, yesterday's outfit is a perfect example of how I like to layer my clothes!

As you can tell by the title, this outfit stands for double c- comfy and casual, just the way I love to dress up during these studying days, where I spend most of the time sitting behind my desk, so wearing anything but jeans or sweatpants (if I'm at home of course :D) isn't an option!

As much as I'm a huge fan of the whole white look, I really like the whole black look as well! Back to the winter

After a quite warm and not so January appropriate days (not that I'm complaining) the weather has changed completely. It started snowing yesterday afternoon and it is still snowing at right this moment when I'm writing this post. If you follow me on Instagram, then you've probably already seen a live weather report from my window, but even though the snow can become quite annoying in the city, I simply love these kind of mornings when you wake up in a true winter wonderland!
