NIVEA Q10 PLUS

Tuesday, March 4, 2014

Even though I’m still young and wrinkles should be my least concern, I try my best to take care of my skin. So besides trying to eat as healthy as possible and drink A LOT of water I recently started to use a new Nivea product: Q10 anti wrinkle every day care cream. As I mentioned before, I have a really dry skin and we all know this type of skin doesn’t age that well. So why not start taking care of it now and try to prevent or at least minimize all of those future wrinkles, that like it or not, are a part of aging. So I found Nivea q10 plus to be a perfect product, since with natural Goji Berry extract it supports your natural Q10 and Creatine that awakens your skin, they give you fresh and radiant look and work effectively to reduce the appearance of wrinkles….and it smells amazing! :)
Have an amazing day everyone!

VISAPURE

Monday, February 3, 2014

Today, we are going to talk about a subject, that has never been discussed on Magnifique before- skincare. I have a very dry and sensitive skin and until now for me it has been pretty much all about moisturizing (aka treating a moisturizer pretty much as my holy grail). Other than that, I've never had any serious skin problems, I am one of those lucky bastards that pretty much escaped acne period during my teenage years and I'm not really familiar with some serious breakouts, although having a very sensitive skin, brings a whole lot of other problems, trust me! So when I got a chance to try Philips' Visapure I was a little bit skeptical (and a little bit nervous I must admit) if it would work for my skin at all and how would my skin reacts to such product. Well it turns out, I was worried for nothing and that my whole experience with Visapure, was nothing but positive! One of the best benefits of this little (and so stylish) advice for me is the fact, that it really helps with absorption of the skin care products and my skin feel really soft and so much smoother. It also helps to remove all of those death cells and it cleans my whole face perfectly. I use it every other day, simply because as I said my skin is really sensitive, so I like to give it a little break in the middle. So all I can say is, if you haven't already, I recommend you try this little baby asap! :)
Have a great beginning of the week everyone!

Martina makes magnifique: part two- red lips

Wednesday, November 20, 2013

Here's the second and the final part of this awesome makeup look that Martina created some time ago (check out part one or an outfit post). As I mentioned quite a few times already, I absolutely adore this look, even with the red lips ...and I'm not really a big fan of lipsticks so that's kind of a big deal! :D
Maybe that's because we didn't actually use the lipstick, but we created the whole lips using only a red lip pencil (we used Jane Iredale Lip definer)! So basically all you need to do is line your lips, fill them in and you are done!

I hope you like the look and a special thank's to Viki's place, for letting us use her amazing salon for creating this post!
Have an amazing day everyone!

Martina makes Magnifique: Part one- contouring and eyeliner

Wednesday, November 13, 2013

Remember the look that I'm wearing on the picture above? I absolutely adore it, so for my new collaboration with my amazing makeup artist Martina, we decided to show you step by step how to create it and here's the part one- contouring and eyeliner:

As you can see, the process itself isn't that complicated at all, you may look a little bit funny during it though, but the final result is amazing, so don't be afraid to make yourself look a little bit "clownish", with all those lines and shadows. It's all there to help you achieve a beautiful and fresh look, that enhances all of the positive features of your face and corrects all those little flaws that we all have, just of course make sure you blend everything! :D
For eyeliner Martina showed me a little trick, that I used to know only for applying an eyeshadow, but you can actually use for eyeliner as well- the good old tape, that helps creating a perfect line, so much easier.

...And voila, here's the result, but stay tuned for part two:

PRODUCTS USED IN THIS LOOK:
- Jane Iredale liquid mineral A foundation
- Jane Iredale pure matte finish powder
- Jane Iredale Quad Sunbeam bronzer
-Graftobian RMG Wheel
- Jane Iredale Smooth Affair

*Special thanks to Viki's place for letting us use her amazing salon for creating this post.

Have an amazing day everyone!

Martina makes magnifique: daytime smokey look

Monday, October 14, 2013

Hey guys! I'm super excited about today's post, since it's my very first makeup post! As most of you know, I'm very bad when it comes to makeup (and by very bad we are talking knowledge about mascara and eyeliner only), but I was always very fascinated by it, I love how people use their faces as canvases and how a good makeup can make such a great difference! So therefor, I decided to get some professional help and with an amazing makeup artist Martina, from Martina makes makeup, we created a first, very simple and fresh makeup look, from the new series Martina makes magnifique! I was fascinated how quick and simple the whole process was, so here's how to achieve this look:

After the foundation, apply a primer to keep your eye shadows in place. For base we used this really bright and natural "bony" color, that you put all over the eyelid and than draw sort of a triangle line with darker brown color, to define the outer line of where you want the eye shadow to be placed. After that it's time for blending and as Martina says you can never over blend, so keep blending and blending until there aren't any harsh edges. The next step is so called "drop shadow", which basically means applying the same dark brown color at the bottom of your eyes, right underneath your bottom eyelashes, to make the whole look a little bit more dramatic. But to soften up the look, blend the line using the same bright color that was used as a base. Then put a little bit of that same color right underneath the eyebrows and add you favourite mascara (add an extra layer to the ends of the lashes for more drama) to really open up your eyes and voila! Eyes are ready, so now it's time for the rest of the face!

Bronzer should be placed right underneath your check bone and quite similar as with the eyes, you create a line and than blend it towards the ears. Then use our famous base, bright color again, this time as a highlight, and put it on your check bones, down your nose, to your cupid's bow (to make your lips look bigger) and a little bit on you forehead and your chin. Finish the look with a neutral lip gloss and you are done!!
As you can see the look is super simple, we only used three colors, so I think even I, as a complete beginner, could recreate this look.

PRODUCTS USED IN THIS LOOK:
- Jane Iredale Smooth Affair eye primer
- base colour Jane Iredale Bone eye shadow
- Jane Iredale day time eye shadow kit (Dark suede brown color)
- Jane Iredale Longest lash thickening and lengthening mascara
- Jane Iredale Sunbeam bronzer
- Jane Iredale Cosmo lip gloss

With my girl, who's "guilty" for the look, Martina and a special thank's to Viki's place.

I hope you like today's post and stay tuned for more Martina makes magnifique looks!
 Have an amazing day everyone!

Natural and Young cream by Planters

Monday, October 7, 2013

Thank's to Dnevni kich, I received the new Planters' cream called "Natural and Young" that has now become my favourite cream and it has been one of my must haves in my daily bag from the moment I got it. I've never heard about Planters before, but I'm really happy I discovered this Italian brand, because when it comes to creams and the rest of the "beauty equipment" I prefer natural products, on which it is basically based the philosophy of the company. Therefor the Natural and Young cream can be used on all body parts (even on your face) and it's suitable for all skin types, not to mention it absorbs really quickly (which is a huge plus for me), it smells amazing and I mean how cute is the packaging? :)
Have a great day everyone!

Do you remember when I posted an outfit post some time ago, with a big curly hair and probably the most makeup that I've ever worn on the blog? Well, here are two of my favourite photos from the photoshoot that I did right before that outfit post for Dnevni kich. Even though I'm not used to wear this much makeup, I absolutely love how this makeup looks so fresh and simple and it's simply perfect for these warm and sunny days!
Do you like it? :)
Have an amazing day everyone!
